Our Standards

At Valley Organized Physicians, our goal is to initiate a positive change in healthcare and in the lives of patients. To do this, we’ve set high standards on both how we treat our patients and who can treat our patients. This unique, coordinated approach combined with a collective of dedicated providers, enables us to be equipped to deliver the positive results patients deserve.

Coordinated Approach

Our network of Rio Grande Valley providers believes in working together in order to provide each patient with the best care possible. They have first-hand experience in seeing the positive results of their patients’ experience through coordinated care, which is why it remains such an important standard in our performance.

Being part of Valley Organized Physicians means committing to frequent communication with all members of your patients’ healthcare team. Through team communication, preventative care, patient education, and personal involvement, our patients can experience the best care and ultimately the best outcomes.

Extraordinary Standards

The high standards we set for our Primary Care Physicians and Specialists in the Rio Grande Valley is the reason our physicians have a reputation for giving the best care. Committing to excellence that exceeds expectations is what being a Valley Organized Physicians provider is all about.

A strict set of measurement criteria ensures that each of our physicians is engaged and performing at their highest level. Providers are monitored regularly, with counseling through routine peer-to-peer interaction, when improvement is needed.

Among the quality standards reviewed are routine access and availability of appointments for patients, customer experience and complaints, network referral compliance, admissions, member visits per year, and more.

Our primary care physicians currently serve Alamo, Brownsville, Donna, Elsa, Harlingen, Laredo, McAllen, Mercedes, Mission, San Benito, Raymondville, Port Isabel and Weslaco.
