Quality Care
At Valley Organized Physicians, our providers are held to the highest standards. It’s important to us that our primary care doctors and specialists provide each patient with the latest preventative care and treatments available, so that better outcomes can be achieved. For that reason, we have a strict set of requirements that must be met by all of our network physicians. These requirements include:
Ensuring patients have access to routine procedures in a timely manner with appointments available regularly.
Offering a wide selection of providers who are in-network.
Quality of care standards that include regular screenings and preventive measures.
Fewer hospital admissions and readmissions per year.
Providing a way for patients to give us feedback on their experience and our work.
Comprehensive Network
Our comprehensive physician network contains more than 500 primary care physicians (PCPs) and specialists who cover 11 areas in the Rio Grande Valley. This includes Alamo, Brownsville, Donna, Elsa, Harlingen, Laredo, McAllen, Mercedes, Mission, San Benito and Weslaco.
A wide selection, close to home, and all for you.
Working Together
Coordinated care is highly important to our providers. In fact, they believe it is the most beneficial way to treat their patients. Coordinated care allows your PCP to be more informed regarding all facets of your care, including your current health status, the specialists you see, and the medications you take.
Localized Delivery of Your Healthcare
Valley Organized Physicians divides their network geographically into Physician Organized Delivery Systems (PODS). These PODS allow patients to get great care from their PCP or specialist conveniently. PODS also encourage close and frequent communication among the patient’s healthcare team.
